My expertise and field of action: I strive to provide the highest quality in alternate dispute resolution to my clients, and keeping up dated with ongoing educations, I regularly take courses and workshops in Australia and overseas, discussing the latest research, programs, policies and practice within the field of alternate dispute resolution. I have worked with families as a lawyer, mediator and conflict coach for over twenty five years. I have conducted innumerable mediations throughout my career having a strong passion to assist people in the community, I have always had an affinity for rural life, elderly people and working with families. Helen also enjoys carrying out voluntary work for the Salvos Legal Humanitarian Services, St Vincent’s Night Patrol feeding the homeless, educating and working collaboratively with other professionals. I also volunteer overseas, in 2018 I was a mentor / adjucdicator for Lex Infitium Goa India, this July I am travelling to Mongolia with a group of professionals to conduct workshops in mediation with families and conflict coaching.
I was admitted as a Legal Practitioner to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 1994 and Legal Practitioner to the High Court of Australia in 2000. Attorney General Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner in 2008 and nationally accredited Mediator. In 2016 she completed a Conflict Management Course. I have extensive legal knowledge as well as a deep understanding of alternative dispute resolution processes creating a perfect balance in assisting all clients, families, and businesses.
I enjoy working with people and helping them resolve their issues through alternative dispute resolution,I spend time listening to each of my clients, I customize my services to fit all of their individual needs, I listen to their concerns, explore all options available to assist all parties in reaching an agreement which they are able to live with. My exceptional skills and compassion have garnered me many loyal clients, who value me as both a lawyer, mediator, family dispute resolution practitioner, and conflict coach.
