Welcome to WMO
The World Mediation Organization serves as a platform that promotes respectful intercultural and non-armed understanding. We believe that „Mediation is a social core skill that lies veiled within each of us.“ By using the term of Mediation, we want you to understand that Mediation is not a single method but more likely a conglomerate of diverse competencies and skills.
By promoting a constructive dialogue within an area of mutual respect and non-escalated armed conflict (previously named: ‘culture of peace‘), it is intended to make the individual reflect in order to identify a person’s point of view, to raise awareness towards social and political conceptions, and to communicate knowledge that may assist in creating enduring solutions to conflicts and tensions created by human interactions, states, and organizations.

He is currently doing his PhD at Euclid University on Sustainable Development and Diplomacy. As a researcher and consultant, Buli has done a lot of research work with several bilateral and multilateral organizations, including IBTCI (USAID), JICA, GIZ, and the World Bank. I am ready to contribute to research, mediation, peace activism and teachings, and other areas where the Organization wants me to participate. In my current research, I want to show how conflict and political instability contribute to underdevelopment and poverty, in one of the underdeveloped African countries, that has also a global implication.EthiopiaWMO Membership Level: Intern. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Politics, Administration, and International Relations, with my thesis focused on food security in Europe. My academic interests include social inequality (within democracies), memory policy, and the critical examination of food security issues. Additionally, I am intrigued by the dynamics between the North and South regions, exploring the challenges arising from regional asymmetries. My interest in becoming a part of WMO is rooted in a dedication to fostering a more inclusive and culturally aware approach to conflict resolution. Recognizing the need to overcome Eurocentrism and Western-centric ideologies in mediation, I aspire to contribute by promoting diverse perspectives within the organization’s initiatives. My vision is to work collaboratively within the WMO framework to advance a more inclusive and globally relevant understanding of effective conflict resolution practices.GermanyI hold a Bachelor’s degree in Politics, Administration, and International Relations, with my thesis focused on food security in Europe.
